Overview

The following is just an overview of the process you need to go through in order to apply for training authorization with the TSA.  For detailed instructions please follow the link listed above to view the printable, detailed instructions page.

The pilot requesting a training course must apply for approval from the TSA following their guidelines.  If you require any assistance in applying for approval, filing out the application, or if you have any questions, please contact Air Training Support. Once you open an account with the TSA you will be able to access it as necessary to complete the process.

When filling out the application it is very important to submit all information exactly as it appears on your passport and licenses, and submit copies of all required documents necessary.  Fingerprints may also be required.  The process is explained in further detail on the TSA website.
